Freshman girls faced off against SJS (Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors), and both teams were aided by LC football players serving as the coaching staff. Early it seemed like the game would be a blowout with the freshman scoring early and often. The score was 21-0 at halftime.  A late push by the upperclassmen brought the game to 21-14 but it was too little, too late. After a grueling battle, the Freshmen girls were victorious, pulling out a 28-21 victory over SJS despite SJS Coach Brandis Piper rushing in a touchdown.
