PORTLAND, Ore. – Yesterday, April 23rd, over 40 students were on the search for eggs, at the new Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) event, Eggstravaganza. The 376 eggs were hidden over the Lewis & Clark grounds for the students to find, stuffed with candy and glow sticks. The lovely sunny day did not work in our favor for the glow-in-the-dark aspect of the hunt.
Prizes were given to the twenty lucky hunters who found slips of paper in their eggs. Prizes ranged from bounce putty to oversized glasses. The hunt lasted about 10 minutes after the students sprinted off to gather as many eggs as possible. Extra candy was given to all participants and students on their way to the library. Thank you to the SAAC members, student-athletes, and students who helped set up and participated in the hunt.
