SAAC Puts on Annual Talent Show

SAAC Puts on Annual Talent Show
By Matt DeRosa
SAAC Co-Chair

PORTLAND, Ore. - Last Friday, April 12th, the Lewis and Clark College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the 3rd Annual Talent Show. Each seat in Tamarack Lounge was filled with observers eager to watch the talent ensue. That talent came mostly in the form of musical talent. From the ukulele to the piano, original guitar numbers to a harmonious duet, Lewis and Clark students displayed their immense talented.

The extreme talent shown made it difficult for the judges, Assistant Football Coach Phil Magbanua; ASLC Vice-President Elect Sam Lehman; senior SAAC representative Lamar Curry; and SAAC co-chair Matt DeRosa, to come to a decision. After 10 minutes of deliberation the four judges returned to the crowd with the results. Kayla Aronson, who performed an original song on her guitar, took home the 1st place $100 prize. Congratulations to all who won and another round of applause for those who participated.
