A three-year letterman in football, basketball and track; led the Pioneers in scoring as a football halfback in 1946 and 1948; 2nd team all-conference as a senior; Northwest Conference champion in 880 and second in 100 yard dash; captained track & field team as a senior; was team’s top scorer, providing points in  the 100, 220, 440, 880, long jump, high jump, pole vault and  relay; also a  three-year letterman guard in basketball.   (Inducted in 1979)
