Led Lewis & Clark in rushing all four years as a football halfback, averaging 90 yards in 38 games and 6.3 yards on 540 carries; rushed for 971 yards in 1960 and 960 yards in 1961; had career total of 3,422 yards; set game records by rushing for 281 yards in 13 carries against Whitman in 1957 and 175 yards in only 5 carries against SOSC in 1958; scored 28 career  touchdowns 1st team all-Northwest Conference in 1960 and 1961.  (Inducted in 1980)
