A first team All-American defensive tackle in 1968; four-year letterman and three-year starter in the Pioneer defensive line; twice named 1st team all Northwest Conference and all-NAIA District 2; exceptional speed for his size (6-6, 250); versatile enough to do the team’s punting on occasion; drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.  (Inducted in 1990)
