Luhnow & Garrison Named Athletes of the Year The Lewis & Clark College Department of Physical Education & Athletics hosted its annual Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony and Dessert on Thursday, April 30 in the Pamplin Sports Center. Pioneers Celebrate Division III Week (April 6-12) Students at Lewis & Clark “represent the next generation of global thinkers and leaders, unafraid to discard conventional thinking, civic complacency, and outmoded preconceptions.” So when the college made the decision to transition varsity athletics from the NAIA to NCAA Division III in 1998 it was a perfect fit. SAAC Raises over $4,800 in Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee held their annual 48-hour fundraiser on February 20-21 for Special Olympics Oregon.
