Junior libero Lou Ohki continued her solid 2009 campaign over the weekend, helping the Pioneers to back-to-back Northwest Conference wins in eastern Washington. Ohki helped the Pios take down the Whitman Missionaries 3-1 on Friday, Oct. 23 and then the Whitworth Pirates 3-1 the following day. With the win over Whitworth, the Pioneers reclaimed their spot as the second best team in the NWC, trailing Pacific Lutheran who have yet to drop a conference match-up.
Against Whitman, the 5-3 Californian had three kills on five attempts for a .600 hitting percentage, while also contributing a game-high 22 digs. She then carried her momentum into the Whitworh match, once again leading all players in digs, this time with 19.
