Amalia Nilsson was the runner-up at the Wilson ITA Small College Regional Tournament in both singles and doubles this weekend in Salem. Nilsson won two doubles matches with partner Lisa Harunaga to advance to the finals before falling in a very close match 9-8(7-4) to the champions from Linfield. In the singles bracket, Nilsson also made it to the finals, winning three matches to advance to the finals where she bowed to Linfield's Kasey Kuenzli 6-4, 6-0. This was Nilsson's Pioneer debut.
