For the second week in a row, a Pioneer was named the Northwest Conference Pitcher of the Week. Jordon Smiley (senior, Las Vegas, Nevada) earned his first honor of the season after pitching a two-hit shutout against the Pacific Boxers on Sunday. Smiley struck out six and walked one in the Pioneers 3-0 victory.
