2008-09 Baseball Recruits

The Pioneer baseball team has four incoming baseball players for the 2009 season, three infielders and a catcher.
Michael Ball is a 5-11, 170 lb second baseman from University High in Irvine, Calif. At Irvine, he was the co-captain and MVP of the team, earning All-League, All-City, and Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Parker Dane also attended University High in Irvine where he was a 5-10, 170 short stop. The co-captain was also named All-League, All-City, MVP, and was the Offensive Player of the Year.
Jim Bray is a 6-1, 170 lb infielder who attended Gresham High and is transferring to Lewis & Clark from Clackamas Community College. He was a Second Team All-PIL second baseman as a junior at GHS. At Clackamas, he was a Second Team All-Southern Region first baseman and an All-Academic NWAACC selection.
Kevin Condon is a 5-10, 180 lb catcher from
Morton Grove, Illinois where he was named Most Imporved and
received the Coaches' Award. He traveled to Japan this summer,
playing on an All-Star travel team representing the United States
in international tournaments.
The Pioneer baseball team will have their first workouts in Sepetmeber, with "fall ball" getting underway September 10. The season begins in early February 2009.
