Game One - The Pioneers jumped out to an 3-0 lead in the second inning but could never quite get anything else started as the Knights put up 12 runs, 16 hits and took advantage of six Pioneer errors winning game one by the score of 12-3.

Game Two - Wartburg put up a quick three runs in the first inning but the Pioneers matched it with three runs of their own in the second. The Knights then went back to work in the third inning putting up another two runs to take a 5-3 lead. However, the Pioneers battled back with two runs in the fourth inning tying the ballgame at 5-5. In the sixth and seventh innings Wartburg strung together hit after hit and put up another seven runs. This time the Pios would not be able to respond, losing game two by a score of 12-5.

Hayden Higger led the Pioneer offense with four hits on the day while batting in three runners as well.
