Football All-NWC Announced

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Following the conclusion of the 2012 season, the Lewis & Clark football team had three players earn Northwest Conference All-Conference Second-Team honors, while placing six players on the honorable mention list.

Senior offensive lineman Raul Millan was the only offensive player for the Pios to make the second-team, an honor he enjoyed last season.

John Berokoff earned his second consecutive spot on the defensive second-team, while Logan Kotzian picked up his first honor. Berokoff ended the season with 32 tackles, including seven for a loss. The senior defensive lineman also sacked the opposing quarterback 4.5 times, while forcing two fumbles. Kotzian concluded his year with 47 tackles and three sacks. He also forced two fumbles while coming up with seven breakups.

The Pioneers placed quarterback Keith Welch, wide receiver Evan Stanbro and offensive lineman Tony Zamora on the offensive honorable mention list. Linebacker Andrew Traver and defensive backs Joe Kopp-Anders and Clay Israelson all made the honorable mention list for defense.
