Pioneer Football to Collect Canned Food for St. Vincent de Paul, Raffle for Trip to Las Vegas

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark football squad has partnered with St. Vincent de Paul to collect canned food at select upcoming Pioneer athletics events. For every three cans of food received, a raffle ticket will be given for a trip to Las Vegas, Nev. through Archer Travel.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide Catholic organization of laypersons, open to all who wish to live their faith by loving and serving their neighbor. Generally on a person-to-person basis, members of the Society help those in need, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, handicap, or religion.

The winner of the raffle will win a certificate good for two-night room accommodations at the hotel of choice. The certificate will cover the room price, taxes and resort fees, and round trip air transportation for two guests.
Canned food donations may be brought to the following Pioneer competitions to enter the raffle:

Women's Volleyball vs. Pacific | Friday Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

Football vs. Linfield | Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m.

Women's Soccer vs. PLU | Sunday, Oct. 21 at 12 p.m.

Men's Basketball vs. UC Santa Cruz | Friday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.

Women's Basketball vs. UC Santa Cruz | Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.
