Tim Jacobs comes to Lewis & Clark for the 2008 season as the
Pioneers' Defensive Coordinator. Jacobs spent the last two
seasons as the Defensive Coordinator for North Medford High,
with his defenses tying for the league lead in takeaways. He spent
two years as a strength coach and assistant at NMHS prior to his
promotion as defensive coordinator. He was the JV Coach at Crater
High and a volunteer assistant at Phoenix High School, both of
those programs located in Southern Oregon. He also served as an
assistant football coach for his alma mater, Linfield, in the 2001
season. Jacobs was an All-Northwest Conference Defensive End for
the Wildcats in his senior season (2000). Jacobs also holds
an Masters of Arts and Teaching in Health Education from Oregon
State.
