Ryan Lockard is joining the Pioneers for his fourth season on the sidelines and his third coaching Linebackers. Lockard played five years at Lewis and Clark, before joining the coaching staff as the Defensive Line coach for the 2008 season. He was an All-Northwest Conference Linebacker for the Pios in 2007. He graduated from Lewis and Clark in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology.

Coach Lockard has continued his playing and coaching career overseas in Europe. He played in Warsaw, Poland for the Warsaw Eagles this past season, earning 1^st team PLFA I honors at Linebacker. In 2010, Lockard played in Slagelse, Denmark and helped lead the Wolfpack back to the playoff hunt, after a winless season the previous year. In his first year of being abroad in 2009, Lockard played for the Les Chevaliers d'Orléans in France and won a conference championship and played in the national championship game.

He has also been the Defensive Coordinator and helped coach the U19 and U16 of all three clubs while being in Europe. He has had 2 players from his U19 teams go on and play for their national team and coached 5 All-PLFA I defensive players.
