Student Life Internships in Athletics Provide Real Life Experience

by Kelsey Bumgarner
Athletics Development & Sports Information Assistant

PORTLAND, Ore. - Bon Appetit has been a long time supporter of the College and made significant contributions to Lewis & Clark in many areas, and in the last few years through the support of Student-Life internship positions within the athletics department.

The internships are open to all Lewis & Clark students who are interested in gaining valuable work experience in intercollegiate athletics, specifically in the areas of sports medicine, sports information, sports administration, and development. The internships are paid in the form of on-campus housing, and the interns have the unique opportunity to work alongside department administrators on a semester basis up to a full year.

We sat down with each of the 2012-13 internship recipients to ask about their experience. Click on each of their names below to read their interviews.
