PORTLAND, Ore. – The Lewis & Clark athletic department will be celebrating Division III week, April 8th to April 14th, with a number of events put on by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Division III week was started last year to celebrate the “unique philosophy that equally values academics, athletics and student-athletes’ involvement in a full and rich campus life,” according to NCAA.org.

The athletic department and SAAC will also be partnering with the Special Olympics of Oregon to host a fundraiser dodgeball tournament for the Special Olympics, in which one Lewis & Clark team will be competing.
