PORTLAND, Ore. - Partnering with the Center for Career & Community Engagement (3CE), the Lewis & Clark athletics department sponsored students at the Sports and Entertainment Career and Internship Fair held at the Rose Garden Tuesday, February 19.
"The fair was a good experience for networking and learning how to approach business professionals," said senior Scott Pisapia.
Over 30 students attended the fair, which provided an opportunity to meet with businesses in the sports and entertainment industry, including the Portland Trail Blazers, AEG, Ovations, adidas, Tacoma Rainiers, Portland Timbers, and representatives from the NBA and WNBA.
"It was a great experience and opportunity to network with a variety of companies in the sports world," said senior Jose Nevarez. "I highly recommend more people come next time."
Following the panel discussions and job fair, attendees were also provided tickets to watch the Trail Blazers take on the Phoenix Suns.
