The Pioneer men's golf team finished ninth, edging out the George Fox Bruins in Monday's Willamette Invitational at Creekside Golf Course in Salem, Ore. Daniel Sloan had the sixth lowest individual score. The women played over the weekend in Salem.

Golf at Pacific Invitational
The men's team finished fifth at the Pacific Invitational, playing the Ghost Creek Course at Pumpkin Ridge and Meriwether National Golf Course. Daniel Sloan shot the low round for the Pioneers. The women also played the two courses but did not post a team score.

The Pioneer women's golf team opened their season Sunday afternoon with a tournament at Oregon Creek Golf Club. Diana Freeburg shot the low round for the Pioneers.

Nick Peach and Ryan Cosgrove shot the low rounds for the Pioneers Wednesday at Michelbrook Country Club in McMinnville at the Linfield Five-Way, both shooting 85's.

The Pioneer men's golf team took advantage of their home-course advantage, finishing third at the Lewis & Clark Five Way held at the Oregon Golf Club Monday. Daniel Sloan had his best finish of the season, placing sixth among the individuals.

The Pioneer men's golf team edged George Fox to place fourth at Saturday's Pacific Five-Way tournament at Quail Valley Golf Course. Daniel Sloan was the top finisher for the Pioneers, tying for 13th overall.
