PALATINE HILL - Eliot Smith is a freshman on
the men’s golf team, hailing from West Linn, Oregon. After
his grandmother bought him his first set of golf clubs when he was
ten, Eliot hasn’t been able to put them down. Because
baseball took up so much of his time in high school he wasn’t
able to play on the team, but is really enjoying being part of the
L&C squad.
Eliot decided to come to Lewis & Clark because of its great
balance between athletics and academics and he was able to join
both the golf and baseball team. He also loves the city of Portland
and being close to home. Eliot is thinking of becoming a
communications major but is also dabbling in some of the other
departments.
