RESULTS

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – Lewis & Clark senior Sami Morgan finished two rounds in the 80’s to pace the Pioneers at the Linfield Invitational, which concluded on Sunday at the Michelbook Golf Club.

The Pioneers were unable to post a team score for the tournament as sophomore Eddy Wang was not able to compete due to illness.

Morgan finished the tournament with a 167. He closed the weekend with a ten over par 82 after opening with an 85 on Saturday.

Freshman, Eliot Smith turned in a 173 after carding a 91 on Saturday but bounced back on Sunday to shoot an 82, including an eagle on 18. Reinier Spillenaar Bilgen continues to drop strokes and ended the tournament with a 197 turning in a 99 and 98.

The Pioneers take two weeks off before returning to the course at the Northwest Conference Fall Classic at Heron Lakes Golf Club in Portland, Ore. The two-day event is set to begin Saturday, Oct. 17.
