WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The Lewis & Clark men's golf team put together its best team score in recent history this weekend at the Whitman Invitational hosted at Wine Valley Golf Course.
The Pioneers finished with an overall score of 662 after finishing the second round with a 324, their lowest single day score this season.
Trevor Foster finished the invitational tied for 19th place after shooting a 74 on day two to go with his 77 from Sunday. Reid Sata shaved two strokes off his day two score, finishing with a 75 to go with his 77 from the first round.
Connor Laubenstein was the Pioneers most improved golfer on day two, hitting an 83 for a two day total of 174 (91+83). Alexander Lewandowski concluded his day with a 92 for a two day score of 186 (94+92). Ben Jeffe rounded out the Pioneers with a 194 (93+101).
