DUPONT, Wash. - The Lewis & Clark men's golf team concluded the Pacific Lutheran Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers concluded the tournament in fifth place out of eight teams.
The Pioneers finished the first round with a team score of 339, just eight strokes out of fifth place. On day two, the Pioneers shaved 12 strokes off their team score, finishing with a two day score of 666.
Trevor Foster and Jack Mathews put together strong showings for the Pioneers on day two, both finishing with 79's. Foster concludes the weekend with a 162 (24th place), while Mathews finishes with a 166 (29th). Reid Sata was the Pioneers top finisher, shooting a 79 on day one and an 81 on day two, for a two day total of 160 (17th place).
Connor Laubenstein and Raymond Torkelson finished back-to-back in 36th (178) and 37th (197) respectively.
