BREMERTON, Wash. - The Lewis & Clark men's golf team finished in eighth place out of nine teams at the Northwest Conference Spring Classic. The Pioneers finished with a team score of 349 at the conclusion of the first day of the second of three NWC tournaments. Day two of the classic was canceled due to weather conditions, meaning day one results stand as the final results.
Senior Jack Mathews is led the way for the Pioneers with an 81. Connor Laubenstein was six strokes behind with an 87, while Alexander Lewandowski finished the first round with a 90. Both Reid Sata and Trevor Foster wrapped up day one tied with a 91.
