
2009 Tennis Teachers Conference Webpage
PORTLAND, Ore. – Head men’s and
women’s tennis coach Gundars Tilmanis will speak at the 2009
Tennis Teachers Conference in New York City on August 31 in
conjunction with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). The
topic of conversation will be “Things Your Students Should
Hear, Understand, and Do to Accelerate Their
Improvement.”
The conference is being held in the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York
City, with nearly 600 coaches from all over the world. The
conference is set up to overlap with the U.S. Open Tennis
Championships that will take place from Saturday, August 29 –
Tuesday, September 1.
Now in its 39th year of success, the Tennis Teachers Conference is
the premier resource for teaching professionals, organizers and
coaches. Other keynote speakers include 12-time grand slam winner
Billie jean King, Patrick McEnroe, the captain of the US Davis Cup
team and Brad Gilbert, who is the former coach of Andre Agassi.
