WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Pioneers lost to the No.11 Redland Bulldogs this Saturday evening, 8-1. This was their second match of the day and they were facing their second nationally ranked team of the season.

In the singles matches there was a high-point for Lewis & Clark when Jackson Powell defeated Joey Dulle in two sets (7-5, 6-3). But out of the six matches the No.11 Bulldogs took five of them even defeating the Pioneers best singles player Raed Attia in two sets (6-4,6-1). The remaining Pioneers Brenden Barrows, Pim Trouerbach, Kei Inoue and Brendan Adams also lost their singles matches in two sets.

The doubles matches did not go very well for Lewis & Clark with them losing all three match-ups. The Barrowses were able to get three points against Joey Dulle/Brad Cummins but lost 8-3. The second pair of brothers, the Attia's, were able to get four points against Cameron Krimbill/Cooper Lacetera, but eventually lost 8-4. Powell and Inoue lost their doubles match as well but earned five point going down 8-5.
