Hart CRCA National-Scholar Athlete
Pioneer crew team member Katie Hart was named a 2006-07
Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association DIII National Scholar
Athlete. Hart was the lone Pioneer rower to earn the honor this
year.
Katie Hart (senior, Philadelphia, Penn.) graduated in May with a
3.93 GPA. The English History major is a member of Lewis &
Clark's prestigious Robert J. Pamplin Society of Fellows.
Athletes who receive the award must be in at least their second
year of varsity competition, must have rowed in her
institution’s varsity boat for a minimum of 75% of the
current spring season’s races, and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA
or higher for her career (through the fall semester/quarter for the
current competition year).
