On Friday, February 8, the Pioneer crew teams held their annual Erg-A-Thon. During the women's basketball team, the crew team set up two sets of Erg machines at the opposite end of the Pamplin foyer. The "Black" team and the "Orange" team competed with one another, both trying to raise money for breast cancer research as part of the Pioneers' Think Pink promotion. The crew team, along with some help from SAAC, raised $500.

The Pioneer rowers open their spring season on March 8 when they will row in the Behind Ross Island race on the Willamette River.
