"A very strong showing by a very talented group of athletes,"
said Head Coach Sam Taylor. "The
results today confirm that our fall season has gone very well. I
was especially impressed by the poise and focus of our novice
team who have only been training for this race for three
weeks and produced some excellent performances in challenging
conditions. Both varsity squads confirmed their strength
against our regular NCRC competition and we know we're where we
need to be now to compete well when it counts the most. Our
focus now turns to independent training over
the winter and I know that our athletes are already looking forward
to a fantastic spring."
