Directions to Oaks Park

From the Lewis & Clark Campus

Take a left off of campus onto Palatine Hill Road. This will take you downhill on a curving, winding road. Keep going downhill about ~1 mile. You’ll reach a stop sign & intersection—take a left and go about another 1/4 mile downhill to a stop light at HWY 43. Go Left on HWY 43 towards Portland—stay in the LEFT lane. After about 1.5 miles you’ll reach the Sellwood Bridge—stay in the left lane to go over the bridge (east).

From I-5 South

Exit at Terwilliger Boulevard (#297). Stay in the right lane, which will circle back onto Terwilliger Boulevard. After passing over the freeway, stay on Terwilliger for about 1 mile to a 4-way stoplight at Taylor’s Ferry. Go Left (downhill) on Taylors Ferry to the next stoplight—this is HWY 43 (Macadam Ave). Go Right on Macadam and get into the Left lane—about 3/4 of a mile later this will put you over the Sellwood Bridge going east.

From I-5 North

Exit at Terwilliger Boulevard (#297) and stay to the right. At the stoplight,take a right onto Terwilliger Boulevard. After passing over the freeway, stay on Terwilliger for about 1 mile to a 4-way stoplight at Taylor’s Ferry. Go Left (downhill) on Taylors Ferry to the next stoplight—this is HWY 43 (Macadam Ave). Go Right on Macadam and get into the Left lane—about 3/4 of a mile later this will put you over the Sellwood Bridge going east.

Across the Bridge

Directly across the Sellwood bridge get in the left turn lane (first left following the bridge) and turn left onto SE 6th. After 1 block take the first left onto SE Spokane Follow Spokane downhill for about a hundred yards—take the 2nd right onto Oaks Park Way. Follow Oaks Park Way about a 1/2 mile—you’ll see Oaks Amusement Park on your left. Enter through the main gate OR the gate about 100 yards past that if the main gate is locked. Turn left and proceed through the parking lots parallel to Oaks Park Way until you get to the last lot—this is the boathouse!
