Women's Basketball Moves Back to 7th in the Nation

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's basketball team moved back up to seventh in the nation according to D3hoops.com after slipping to ninth last week. The Pioneers are also now ranked eighth in the latest USA Today/ESPN Women's Top-25.

The Pioneers ended the regular season with a 23-2 overall record and 14-2 Northwest Conference record. With their conference record, the Pioneers secured the No. 2 seed in the NWC Tournament where they will host the Whitman Missionaries on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. for the semi-final.

Nationally Lewis & Clark ranks ninth in rebounding margin, while sitting in 24th in free-throw percentage.
