PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's basketball team jumped up two spots in both the D3hoops.com and USA Today/WBCA Top-25 poll. The Pioneers now rank seventh in the nation according to D3hoops and sixth according to the WBCA.
The Pioneers, who are 18-1 on the season, move up this week after defeating Northwest Conference rival George Fox on Jan. 25. The Pioneers snapped the Bruins 43 game home winning stream, while defeating the Bruins for the first time on the road in 20 years.
Lewis & Clark then defeated Linfield on Saturday to secure a spot in the NWC Tournament.
The #6 Pioneers travel to Whitworth on Friday, Feb. 1 for a 6 p.m. tipoff. The Pioneers then travel to Whitman on Saturday, Feb. 2.
