FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's basketball team placed two players on the Northwest Conference All-Conference list with senior Tayler Wang earning a spot on the first-team and senior Katie Anderson being named to the honorable mention team.
Wang, who's season officially ended at Willamette on Feb. 14 due to an injury, concluded the season with 351 total points, 163 rebounds and 69 assists. Despite missing four games, the senior guard still finished the year ranked fourth in the conference in points per game, fifth in free-throws, seventh in assists and 10th in offensive rebounds. Wang made one last appearance in the final seconds of the Pioneers contest against #1 Whitman, scoring her 901 career point. Wang concludes four seasons at Lewis & Clark with 106 appearances, 56 of which were starts, 901 points and 614 rebounds.
Anderson had an equally impressive season in one of the hardest conference's in Division III. The senior guard finished the Northwest Conference season ranked seconds in free-throws, third in total minutes played, sixth in total points, seventh in assists and eighth in points per game. Anderson played in and started all 25 of the Pioneers games this season, taking her career appearances to 93. Anderson ends her career at Lewis & Clark with 856 career points and 260 career rebounds.
