Women's Golf Finishes GFU Invitational in 3rd


ALOHA, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's golf team moved up one spot to conclude the George Fox Invitational at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club in third place. The Pioneers ended day one with a 355 before shooting a 341 on day two. 

Claire Burke was the Pioneers top finisher with a two day score of 164 (81 + 83) earning her a share of 17th place. Arielle Valdez shaved off eight strokes on day two helping her finish with a two day total of 168 for 22nd place. Sofia Vigil ended her tournament with back-to-back 87's for 26th place, while Clarisa Witherup knocked off eight strokes for a 190 (99 + 91). Abbi Rautenberg shot a 100 on both days for a 200 and 36th place and Jessica Rosenblatt ended with a 228.
