The Pioneer soccer team finished off the weekend with a 3-1 (box score) loss at Linfield on Sunday. Natalie Stratton scored the first goal of her Pioneer career.

The Linfield Wildcats scored early, finding the back of the net 12:42 seconds into the game. They followed just over two minutes later with their second goal of the game to make it 2-0 at the break.

The Pioneers scored in the 63rd minute with Natalie Stratton (freshman, Laguna Hills, Calif.) scoring on a feed from Brittany Larson (senior, Boulder, Colo.). Linfield scored their final goal 33 minutes into the second half for the 3-1 final.

With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 2-3-3 (1-3 NWC).

The Pioneers are home next weekend, playing a homecoming night game at 5pm when they host Whitworth at 5pm.
