20 Burning Questions With Elise Delgado

PALATINE HILL - Elise Delgado is one of 12 new
freshmen on the Pioneer women’s soccer team this season.
Elise has proven that she is clearly not intimidated by the
intensity of college soccer, posting three consecutive shutouts in
her first three matches.
Elise is from Sacramento, California, and did not begin playing
soccer competitively until her freshman year of high school at
Christian Brother’s High School. She began as a forward, but
it didn’t take long until she realized her talent was behind
the net. Elise plans on being a Sociology/Anthropology major, but
like many freshmen here at L&C, wants to dabble in many
academic areas.

Nat: What made you want to come to L&C?
Elise: My very good friend was looking at L&C

know the real Elise, so don’t be shy with my next
questions.
