Women's Soccer Ends Road Trip with 1-0 Loss to Whitworth

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Lewis & Clark women's soccer team concluded its road schedule with a 1-0 loss to Northwest Conference opponent Whitworth.

Jackie Day provided the lone goal in the 75th minute after collecting a rebound on a previous Pirate shot.  The Pioneers were outshot by Whitworth 17-8 with sophomores Anna Thorndike and Emily Thompson each collecting three shots on the day.

The loss brings Lewis & Clark to 9-8-1 overall and 6-7-1 in the Northwest Conference.  The Pirates move to 7-7-5 overall and 4-6-5 in league.

Lewis & Clark returns home for a match up with #17 Linfield on Friday, Nov. 8, at 11am.
