Women's Tennis Earns Third Straight 9-0 Win
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's tennis team earned its third straight 9-0 victory on Sunday afternoon, defeating the George Fox Bruins.
The Pioneers showed their dominance in doubles, easily taking down their opponents. Singles was much the same with five out of the six players taking down their foes in two sets. Lisa Osepyan fought her way back in No. 5 singles after falling 2-6 in the opening set. Osepyan bounced back to win the second set 6-4, before owning the tie breaker 1-0 (10-1).
Doubles #1 Aurora Garrison and Gillian Lowe defeat Molly Beaumont and Shaina Inn 8-0. #2 Olivia Cornell and Claudia Lew defeat Alyssa Emoto and Krista Rey 8-2. #3 Lisa Osepyan and Izzy Borris defeat Chantelle Hadeed and Ali Wittrig 8-2.
