The Lewis & Clark volleyball team recognized departing seniors Molly Donahue, Lou Ohki and Katherine Fiedler on Saturday night prior to the start of the teams Northwest Conference match against the Whitworth Pirates. The Pioneers were unable to hold off the Pirates, who cruised to a 25-13, 25-15, and 2515 victory.

Paced by 19 kills from junior Margaret Dowling, the Lewis & Clark volleyball team rolled past the visiting Whitman Missionaries 3-1 on Saturday night in a Northwest Conference match. The Pioneers cruised to a 25-16, 25-14, 22-25, 25-19 win.

After battling through five sets, the Puget Sound Loggers defeated the Lewis & Clark Pioneers 3-2 on Saturday night in a Northwest Conference volleyball match-up in the Memorial Fieldhouse. The Loggers defeated the Pioneers 25-20, 22-25, 15-25, 25-13, and 15-13.

Bearcats Overcome Pioneers 3-1 In NWC Action
The Willamette Bearcats defeated the Lewis & Clark Pioneers 3-1 on Wednesday night in a Northwest Conference midweek game at the Pamplin Sports Complex. The Bearcats earned a 25-21 win in the first set, before the Pioneers picked up a 25-20 victory in the second set, only to fall to Willamette 26-24 and 25-15 in the following two sets.

Volleyball Returns Home To Sweep Linfield
It was a joyous return home for the Lewis & Clark volleyball team, who has played its last five games on the road, as the Pioneers sweep the Linfield Wildcats in a Northwest Conference match-up inside the Pamplin Sports Complex. The Pioneers took down the Wildcats 25-20, 25-12, and 25-20 to earn their first conference sweep at home this season.

It was a rough road trip for the Lewis & Clark volleyball team who dropped a three set match to Northwest Conference power Pacific Lutheran on Friday night in Olson Gymnasium. The Lutes bounced back after dropping back-to-back conference matches last weekend to take down the Pioneers 25-13, 26-24, and 25-17.

Volleyball Sweeps Bruins In NWC Action
The Lewis & Clark volleyball team opened the second half of Northwest Conference action with a 3-0 sweep over host George Fox on Friday night in the Wheeler Sports Center’s Miller Gym. The Pioneers battled strong for a 25-23 win in the first set before cruising to a 25-19 win in the second set. The third set proved to be a fight to the end with the Pios earning a 26-24 win over the Bruins.

Boxers on Saturday night in Northwest Conference action. The Pioneers improve to 6-6 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in conference action, while the Boxers fall to 1-9 overall and 0-2 in the NWC.

The Concordia Cavaliers defeated the Lewis & Clark Pioneers 3-1 on Wednesday night in the Cavalier Gymnasium. The Cavaliers won the first two games (25-13, 25-21) before the Pioneers came back to take the third game (25-21) but it was not enough as Concordia won the fourth game 25-17.

In its final game of the Northwest Conference Invitational held on Sunday afternoon in the Pamplin Sports Complex, the Lewis & Clark volleyball team rolled past the Evergreen State Geoducks 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-14). The Pioneers improve to 2-3 in the season with the win.

Volleyball Opens Northwest Conference Invitational
The Lewis & Clark volleyball team opened the Northwest Conference Invitational on Saturday morning in the Pamplin Sports Complex. The Pioneers faced Whittier in their opening game, falling to the Poets 3-1 (15-25, 28-26, 27-25, 21-25). Northwest University did not take it easy on the Pioneers, defeating the Pios in their second match of the day by scores of 25-13, 25-20, and 25-21. Lewis & Clark came from behind in their third match of the day to take down Walla Walla 3-2 (23-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-15, 15-11) for the Pios first win of the season.
