Women's Cross Country Ranked 23rd in USTFCCCA Preseason Poll

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Lewis & Clark women's cross country team has been ranked 23rd in the nation by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in the pre-season poll released August 28th.

The Pioneers have also been ranked second in the West Region by the USTFCCCA.

Last season, the women earned their third Northwest Conference Championship.  As a team they finished 20th in the NCAA Division III National Championship.

On the men's side, the Pioneers have been ranked sixth by the USTFCCCA in the regional rankings.  Last season, the Pioneers finished second in the Northwest Conference Championship.

The cross country team begins their season with a dual against Linfield on Friday, August 30 at 4 p.m. at Westmoreland Park.
