Racing in her second-ever Northwest Conference Championships, sophomore Sam Duran had the most top-five finishes by Lewis & Clark swimmers over the three-day event. Duran also set two new school records. Her highest championship finish was in the 200 Butterfly when she took third by over three seconds. In the 100 Backstroke, Duran placed fourth overall with a mark of 58.28. The day before, she posted a time of 57.90 to establish a new school record during the first leg of the 400 Medley relay. With a fifth-place finish in the 100 Butterfly, Duran timed out at 57.91, which eclipsed her preliminaries time that had set a new school all-time best. She was named to the All-NWC First Team in the 200 Butterfly and received All-NWC Second-Team honors in the other two events.
