Brandon Rupp joined the Lewis & Clark staff in November 2017 and begins his second season on the Pios' bench in 2019.
Familiar with the Northwest Conference after competing and coaching for George Fox, Rupp joins the Pios as the team's pitching coach. While coaching at George Fox, where he pitched from 2004-06, Rupp was primarily responsible for developing pitchers mechanically, physically and mentally. He worked directly with the institution's training staff to develop an extensive, seasonlong training program and was involved in the process of recruiting potential student-athletes. Rupp also instructed summer and winter camps.
Rupp co-owns a baseball academy in the Portland area and has been both an assistant coach in the Western Major Baseball League and a camp instructor for Oregon State and Oregon. He graduated from George Fox in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
