PALATINE HILL -- Baseball and women’s track and field led the list of over 60 Lewis & Clark student-athletes on the Spring 2016 Dean’s List, which was announced a few weeks after final examinations were finished in May.
Of the 60 to make the list, 17 finished the semester with 4.0 grade-point averages. Student-athletes from football, men’s and women’s track and field, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s rowing, men’s and women’s swimming, volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s golf and women’s tennis were among those to finish the term with a 4.0 GPA. Nine others finished with a 3.9 or above.
Baseball finished with seven on the list, while women’s track and field had 10.
33 student-athletes made both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Dean’s List.
To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, students must be enrolled full-time and achieve a GPA of 3.700 of higher, with at least 12 graded semester credits.
Overall, 466 students at Lewis & Clark made the institution's Dean’s List.
