    Lewis & Clark softball player Jessica Mullins was honored with a spot on the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars Awards for the 2010 season. Mullins was one of 12 softball players named to the award list.

    Senior catcher Jessica Mullins was named to the Northwest Conference All-Conference Second-Team, as voted on by the leagues coaches, after leading the softball team with a .552 slugging percentage. Jess Mullins was not the only Pioneer to be honored as sophomore Caroline DeVincenzi and freshman Jet'aime Mullins both made the All-Conference Honorable Mention.

The Pirates earned a convincing 10-2 win in the first game, before barely slipping past the Pioneers in the second game, winning 7-6.

    The Lewis & Clark softball team dropped its make-up game with the Willamette Bearcats 13-4 on Thursday afternoon. The game was originally started on March 28 with the Bearcats holding a 3-1 advantage, before rain forced the game to be called in the top of the second inning.

    The Lewis & Clark softball team dropped a pair of Northwest Conference contests to the Pacific Boxers on Thursday evening at the Huston Sports Complex. Playing as the home team, the Boxers earned a 13-4 win in the first game of the evening, before capturing a 4-2 victory in the nightcap.

The second game of the day was postponed in the top of the second inning due to rain, with the Bearcats leading 3-1.

The Pioneers took down Williams College 9-4, with sophomore Caroline DeVincenzi picking up her first win of the season.

The Pioneers came close to picking up two wins, falling to the Puget Sound Loggers 8-6 in game one, pulling within in two runs in the seventh inning of action. Game two saw the Pioneers fall 6-3 after holding an early 3-2 lead.

The Pioneers took on Oregon Institute of Technology in their first game of the tournament, falling 5-1, before falling to Northwest Christian, 4-1.
