D3hoops.com - The Lewis & Clark women's basketball team continues to be recognized as one of the nations top Division III programs, moving up a spot to #12 in the D3hoops.com Women's Top-25 Week 4 rankings. 

The Pioneers, who are currently facing off against regional foes in California, are 10-0 on the season. The start is the Pioneers best start in program history, as the Pioneers have never been undefeated through their first 10 games.

Lewis & Clark continues to inch closer and closer to Northwest Conference rival George Fox who are the only other NWC school ranked in the top-25. The Bruins have not moved since the preseason poll. The two sides have a meeting coming up as the teams will battle on January 3 at 6 p.m. in the Pamplin Sports Center. The squads split the series last season en route to sharing the NWC Regular Season Championship.

Within the NWC, junior Kristina Williams leads the conference in three point percentage (.484), while ranking second in scoring with an average of 15.2 points per game. Sara Villanueva ranks fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (.538), while sitting in fifth place in scoring with 14.8 points per game. Nationally, Villanueva ranks 47th out of 300 players in field goal percentage.

As a team the Pioneers are the conferences best rebounding team with a .432 rebounding percentage. They also lead everyone in three point percentage, while ranking second in free-throw percentage.
