SEATTLE, Wash. - For her efforts in the Lewis & Clark women's basketball teams three wins in California earlier this week, senior Megan Spence has been named the Northwest Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Spence has helped guide the Pioneers, who are ranked 12th in the nation, to an 11-0 record following the teams three wins in Southern California. Against La Sierra, Spence led all players with 20 points hitting 7-11 shots from the field. The night before the 6-0 post also led the way for the Pioneers with 16 points and 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the season.
Lewis & Clark returns to action on Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. when they host George Fox in NWC action.
