D3hoops.com - The Lewis & Clark women's basketball team has moved up from #11 to #10 this week in the latest D3hoops.com Women's Top-25.
The Pioneers break into the top-10 in the D3hoops.com rankings for the first time in program history. Lewis & Clark has suffered only one loss this season, falling to the #3 ranked George Fox Bruins by 68-63 on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Despite the loss, the Pioneers still managed to move up in the rankings with their 12-1 overall record.
Junior Kristina Williams, who scored her 1,000th career point against Linfield, is currently ranked first in the Northwest Conference in three-point percentage and fifth in points per game.
As a team, the Pioneers rank 19th in the nation in rebounding margin and 50th in free-throw percentage.
Lewis & Clark returns to action on Friday, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. when they take on Pacific Lutheran on the road in a Northwest Conference match-up.
