SEATTLE, Wash. - Juniors Kristina Williams and Sara Villanueva earned Northwest Conference All-Conference honors as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Williams earned a spot on the first-team for the second consecutive year, while Villanueva was named to the second-team.
Williams currently ranks fourth in the conference in points per game, while leading the Pioneers in the same category. The El Dorado Hills, Calif. native is the fifth best three point shooter in the NWC with a .337 shooting percentage.
Villanueva earned her first nod on the NWC All-Conference after ending the regular season ranked sixth in field goal percentage. Villanueva is second on the team in scoring average and field goals made.
Senior Neva Hauser was named to the NWC Honorable Mention. Hauser is fourth on the team in scoring and second in made three pointers.
The Pioneers are hosting one of the NWC Semi-Final Tournament games on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. where they will take on the Whitman Missionaries. Ticket prices are as follows: $7 for adults, $4 for children & seniors and FREE for L&C and Whitman students with valid college ID.
