PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Pioneers remain winless in conference play after a second-half goal by the Linfield Wildcats gave the visiting team the 1-0 victory.

The Pioneers struggled to get past a tough Wildcats defensive line and were limited to just two shots on goal and six shots total. The Pios had one final chance in the last minute of the game off of a cross into the box, but the shot by midfielder Becca McCullough was punched out by the Linfield keeper.

Key Moments

The free kick for the Wildcats was sent long into the box and bounced a few times before finding the foot of Linfield's Ashley Guldager who found the back of the net for the winning goal.
